Welcome to the Multi-Culti Clinic Website!
The multi-culti project is born out the initiative of a group of mental health professionals who graduated from abroad and achieved the necessary qualifications, skills and knowledge to offer their services to members of their own culture.
We strive to facilitate the practice of the profession to internationally trained professionals and provide culturally empathetic services to the community.
Our group is very diverse in cultures, degrees, specializations and theoretical frameworks, but we all focus in the needs of our clients, and strive to maximize their welfare.
We are a group of professional immigrants of different cultures who know not only the theory but have first-hand experience in the shock of resettlement and the different stages people go through during the process. Our individual learning and experiences puts us in an advantageous position, but that not always translates into better employability in the Canadian world, where grammar and accent are the measurement of professionalism.
This multicultural venture is truly anti-oppressive, anti-racist, anti-discriminatory and above all else, inclusive. We are inspired by the desire of being part of the working mental health community in Canada.
Our mission at the multi-culti projet is to support the integration of internationally trained mental health professionals into the Canadian labor market, and reinforce the mental health system structure
